A top price for Otar Chkhartishvili - as previously expected
The work Georgian informer by Otar Chkhartishvili was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,753.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Georgian informer is the most expensive artwork by Otar Chkhartishvili that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Georgian informer von Otar Chkhartishvili wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
