In June 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art, which included the work Czeca Church In The Countryside (Vesnický Kostel) by Otakar Nejedlý. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,754.59), 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otakar Nejedlý - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bathing girls, India, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 19,700.00 (€ 27,585.10).

Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Czeca Church In The Countryside (Vesnický Kostel) von Otakar Nejedlý zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.754,59) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Otakar Nejedlý mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bathing girls, India beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 19.700,00 (€ 27.585,10) versteigert wurde.
