The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 998.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Goatherder In A Wooded Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Oswald Garside that we have observed at auctions so far.
