A top price for Osvaldo Romberg - as previously expected
The work Asterion; Diptych by Osvaldo Romberg was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in May 2005. The price achieved of USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,137.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Asterion; Diptych is the most expensive artwork by Osvaldo Romberg that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Asterion; Diptych von Osvaldo Romberg kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.137,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Asterion; Diptych das teuerste Kunstwerk von Osvaldo Romberg, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
