Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ossip Zadkine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May this year. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Van Gogh marchant à travers champs sold for USD 52,920.00 (€ 49,671.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ossip Zadkine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tête de jeune garçon in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 797,000.00 (€ 934,005.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ossip Zadkine erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Van Gogh marchant à travers champs für USD 52.920,00 (€ 49.671,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ossip Zadkine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tête de jeune garçon im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 797.000,00 (€ 934.005,33).
