This artwork by Orlando Greenwood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2014. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Venus sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,336.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orlando Greenwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piano Solo, which sold at auction in December 2002 for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 6,854.00).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Orlando Greenwood erzielte im Februar 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Venus für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.336,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Orlando Greenwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piano Solo beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für GBP 4.465,00 (€ 6.854,00) versteigert wurde.
