Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Tulips by Orlando Greenwood was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,987.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orlando Greenwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piano Solo, which sold at auction in December 2002 for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 6,854.00).

Die Arbeit Still Life with Tulips von Orlando Greenwood kam im September 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.880,00 (€ 2.987,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Orlando Greenwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piano Solo beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für GBP 4.465,00 (€ 6.854,00) versteigert wurde.
