Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pinks and yellows by Orlando Greenwood was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in January 2008. The price achieved of GBP 400.00 (€ 536.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Orlando Greenwood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piano Solo in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 6,854.00).
