Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Sans titre by Mubin Orhon. The price achieved of EUR 3,072.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mubin Orhon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.072,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
