Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Mubin Orhon was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 57,075.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mubin Orhon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Mubin Orhon kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 57.075,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
