The result of EUR 500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 550.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oreste Labò achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il soldato in December this year with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.

Die Arbeit Cesare Battisti in divisa da Alpino von Oreste Labò wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 550,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oreste Labò erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il soldato im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
