The work Carezze del mare by Oreste Labò was sold in the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in December last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Oreste Labò have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il soldato in December this year with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Carezze del mare von Oreste Labò wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oreste Labò auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il soldato im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
