In November 2007 Christies in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Circoncisione by Orazio Samacchini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 55,640.00 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Orazio Samacchini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Baptism Of Christ in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 487,500.00 (€ 405,236.91).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Circoncisione von Orazio Samacchini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 55.640,00 und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Orazio Samacchini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Baptism Of Christ im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 487.500,00 (€ 405.236,91).
