A top price for Orazio Fidani - as previously expected
In May 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Jael And Sisera by Orazio Fidani. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,392.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jael And Sisera is the most expensive artwork by Orazio Fidani that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jael And Sisera von Orazio Fidani zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.392,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Jael And Sisera das teuerste Kunstwerk von Orazio Fidani, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
