Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work Jael And Sisera by Orazio Fidani. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,688.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orazio Fidani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jael And Sisera, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,392.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Masters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jael And Sisera von Orazio Fidani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.688,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Orazio Fidani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jael And Sisera beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.392,95) versteigert wurde.
