In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Dms 458 by Orazio Bacci. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orazio Bacci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dms 570, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,466.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dms 458 von Orazio Bacci zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.553,16) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Orazio Bacci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dms 570 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.466,64) versteigert wurde.
