Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work The Orange Picker (Illustrated); And A Neapolitan Peasant Woman by Onorato Carlandi. The price achieved of GBP 1,015.75 (€ 1,479.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Onorato Carlandi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 6,125,000.00 (€ 5,505.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Orange Picker (Illustrated); And A Neapolitan Peasant Woman von Onorato Carlandi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.015,75 (€ 1.479,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Onorato Carlandi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 6.125.000,00 (€ 5.505,00) versteigert wurde.
