Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work A lake on the Roman Campagna; and A Pyramid on the Roman Campagna by Onorato Carlandi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,198.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Onorato Carlandi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 6,125,000.00 (€ 5,505.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lake on the Roman Campagna; and A Pyramid on the Roman Campagna von Onorato Carlandi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.198,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Onorato Carlandi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 6.125.000,00 (€ 5.505,00) versteigert wurde.
