In December 2001 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana by Onorato Carlandi. The price achieved of ITL 6,125,000.00 (€ 5,505.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 5,500,000.00 – 7,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana is the most expensive artwork by Onorato Carlandi that we have observed at auctions so far.
