Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Cipressi E Ruderi Oltre Il Fiume by Onorato Carlandi. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,488.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Onorato Carlandi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 6,125,000.00 (€ 5,505.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cipressi E Ruderi Oltre Il Fiume von Onorato Carlandi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.488,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Onorato Carlandi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Antico acquedotto nella Campagna Romana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 6.125.000,00 (€ 5.505,00) versteigert wurde.
