Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Marilyn + J.F.K. Frozen by Omar Ronda was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,900.00 – 2,300.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar Ronda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marilyn frozen in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 24,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Marilyn + J.F.K. Frozen von Omar Ronda im Dezember 2014 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.900,00 – 2.300,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.800,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar Ronda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marilyn frozen im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.800,00.
