Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Village by Omar Onsi was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,026.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar Onsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,832.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Village von Omar Onsi kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.026,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar Onsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.832,21).
