Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paysageomar Onsi ; Landscape ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Panel by Omar Onsi was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar Onsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,832.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paysageomar Onsi ; Landscape ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Panel von Omar Onsi im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.250,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar Onsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.832,21).
