This artwork by Olivier Mosset achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Zurich in September 2018. In the Swiss Art Sale auction, the work Yellow stripe, 1989 sold for CHF 87,500.00 (€ 77,155.39) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 45,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Olivier Mosset; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of USD 137,000.00 (€ 123,035.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Olivier Mosset erzielte im September 2018 bei Christies in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art Sale wurde die Arbeit Yellow stripe, 1989 für CHF 87.500,00 (€ 77.155,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 45.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Olivier Mosset; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 123.035,47).
