This artwork by Olivier Mosset achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1987 sold for EUR 13,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olivier Mosset have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 123,035.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olivier Mosset erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1987 für EUR 13.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olivier Mosset auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 123.035,47).
