Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Transformation by Olga Bulgakova was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2011. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,813.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olga Bulgakova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moiry in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).
