Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double Portrait by Olga Bulgakova was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,357.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Bulgakova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moiry, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double Portrait von Olga Bulgakova kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.357,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Bulgakova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moiry beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 36.500,00 (€ 51.109,44) versteigert wurde.
