Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Masha 2 by Oleg Dou was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oleg Dou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red, which sold at auction in March 2012 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,623.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Masha 2 von Oleg Dou kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.247,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oleg Dou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red beobachtet, die im März 2012 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.623,97) versteigert wurde.
