The work Winter scenery with a snow-covered road, winding through a village by Ole Ring was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) auction at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year. The auction ended at the price of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,073.78), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ole Ring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish vinterlandsby (Town In Winter) in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).

Die Arbeit Winter scenery with a snow-covered road, winding through a village von Ole Ring wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.073,78) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ole Ring erzielen.
