The work "Untitled drawing # 21" by Olav Westphalen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2010. The auction ended at the price of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,539.26), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olav Westphalen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cartier" in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 62,000.00 (€ 6,549.01).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Untitled drawing # 21" von Olav Westphalen kam im März 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.539,26) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olav Westphalen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cartier" im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 62.000,00 (€ 6.549,01).
