The work A still life with a bowl by Olav Cleofas was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 3,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olav Cleofas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with a bottle, a glass and an egg, which sold at auction in November 2000 for NLG 17,553.00 (€ 8,223.30).

Die Arbeit A still life with a bowl von Olav Cleofas kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.120,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Olav Cleofas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life with a bottle, a glass and an egg beobachtet, die im November 2000 für NLG 17.553,00 (€ 8.223,30) versteigert wurde.
