Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Devil Made Me Do It by Oh de Laval was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 101,600.00 (€ 12,286.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oh de Laval - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Theatre, which sold at auction in March this year for HKD 254,000.00 (€ 29,740.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Devil Made Me Do It von Oh de Laval kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 101.600,00 (€ 12.286,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oh de Laval mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Theatre beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für HKD 254.000,00 (€ 29.740,80) versteigert wurde.
