In May 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Old Maid's Lane, Bermuda by Ogden Minton Pleissner. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 20,868.11) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ogden Minton Pleissner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Down's Gulch, which sold at auction in December 2005 for USD 84,000.00 (€ 70,933.96).

Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Old Maid's Lane, Bermuda von Ogden Minton Pleissner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 20.868,11) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ogden Minton Pleissner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Down's Gulch beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für USD 84.000,00 (€ 70.933,96) versteigert wurde.
