Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cunard Aquitania, U.S.A. & Canada by Odin Rosenvinge was sold in the Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons auction at Christies in London in April 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,299.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Odin Rosenvinge have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Elder Dempster Lines, West & South West Africa was auctioned for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,883.75).
