Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work Anchor Line. Midland Railway. Glasgow & New York Via Londonderry by Odin Rosenvinge. It changed hands for a price of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,018.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Odin Rosenvinge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elder Dempster Lines, West & South West Africa, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,883.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anchor Line. Midland Railway. Glasgow & New York Via Londonderry von Odin Rosenvinge zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.018,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Odin Rosenvinge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elder Dempster Lines, West & South West Africa beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.883,75) versteigert wurde.
