In the Modern Art auction, the work Apres-Midi D'Ete, Le Hamac Dans Le Jardin sold for EUR 5,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Octave Guillonnet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A siesta in the shade in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 21,342.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Octave Guillonnet erzielte im Dezember 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Apres-Midi D'Ete, Le Hamac Dans Le Jardin für EUR 5.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Octave Guillonnet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A siesta in the shade im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.340,00 (€ 21.342,22).
