Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Afternoon Relaxation by Octave Guillonnet. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,771.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Octave Guillonnet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A siesta in the shade, which sold at auction in June 2004 for GBP 14,340.00 (€ 21,342.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Afternoon Relaxation von Octave Guillonnet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.771,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Octave Guillonnet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A siesta in the shade beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für GBP 14.340,00 (€ 21.342,22) versteigert wurde.
