Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/ Turkish, which included this untitled work by Nuri Iyem. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,892.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nuri Iyem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,699.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nuri Iyem zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.892,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nuri Iyem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.699,16) versteigert wurde.
