Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nuri Iyem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March last year. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Sıradan Sevdalılar (Ordinary Lovers) sold for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,420.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nuri Iyem; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March 2020 with the realized price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,699.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nuri Iyem erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Sıradan Sevdalılar (Ordinary Lovers) für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.420,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nuri Iyem; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.699,16).
