Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Selected Images of Fashion Scenes 2 by Norman Parkinson for USD 640.00 (€ 580.76). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Parkinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jerry Hall, Russia, Two Studies, 1975 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected Images of Fashion Scenes 2 von Norman Parkinson für USD 640,00 (€ 580,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Parkinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jerry Hall, Russia, Two Studies, 1975 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
