Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Study of young boy, traditionally identified as the artist's son, in cricket whites, a bat in his right hand, and a dog by his side by Norman Garstin was sold in the Victorian & Traditionalist Art auction at Christies in London in February 2009. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,127.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Garstin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Morning Lesson in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 49,597.31).

Die Arbeit Study of young boy, traditionally identified as the artist's son, in cricket whites, a bat in his right hand, and a dog by his side von Norman Garstin wurde im Februar 2009 in der Auktion Victorian & Traditionalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
