Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Geese by Norah McGuinness was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,490.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norah McGuinness achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Harvesters in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 78,500.00 (€ 99,855.43).
