In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A gondolier on a Venetian backwater by Noël Bouvard. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,417.83), 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by Noël Bouvard have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 14,023.46) in November 2001 for the work Veneitian backwaters.

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A gondolier on a Venetian backwater von Noël Bouvard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.417,83) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Noël Bouvard haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 14.023,46) im November 2001 für die Arbeit Veneitian backwaters beobachtet.
