Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work French by Noël Bouvard was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,966.51). Other works by Noël Bouvard have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 14,023.46) in November 2001 for the work Veneitian backwaters.
