Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art, which included the work A Venetian Canal by Noël Bouvard. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,063.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Noël Bouvard have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2001 the work Veneitian backwaters was auctioned for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 14,023.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Venetian Canal von Noël Bouvard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.063,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Noël Bouvard konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2001 die Arbeit Veneitian backwaters für GBP 8.812,50 (€ 14.023,46) versteigert.
