The »bidding war« ended at AUD 19,680.00 (€ 13,425.03), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ningura Napurrula have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 30,000.00 (€ 16,984.86) in July 2009 for the work Tjuntulpul.
