Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 2003 by Ningura Napurrula was sold in the Australian and International Art Online auction at Bonhams in August this year. The price achieved of AUD 6,150.00 (€ 3,669.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ningura Napurrula have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tjuntulpul in July 2009 with an auction result of AUD 30,000.00 (€ 16,984.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 2003 von Ningura Napurrula wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Australian and International Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.150,00 (€ 3.669,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ningura Napurrula auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tjuntulpul im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 30.000,00 (€ 16.984,86).
