Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus by Ning Fucheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,668.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ning Fucheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,149.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Ning Fucheng wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.668,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ning Fucheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.149,11).
