This artwork by Ning Fucheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Bamboo and Rock sold for HKD 35,000.00 (€ 2,881.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ning Fucheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,149.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ning Fucheng erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Bamboo and Rock für HKD 35.000,00 (€ 2.881,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ning Fucheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.149,11).
