In February 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now Day Sale, which included the work Fatigues by Nina Beier. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,201.32), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nina Beier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Mode, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fatigues von Nina Beier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.201,32) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nina Beier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Mode beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.097,43) versteigert wurde.
